1. Cadets will be courteous at all times to other Cadets, Counselors, Junior Counselors, Command Staff, Visitors and Presenters. Cadets will address all Staff Members, and all adults that they interact with as “Sir” or “Ma’am”.
2. Cadets shall not possess or use alcohol, narcotics, chewing tobacco, etc. Cadets shall not possess a weapon of any kind. Appropriate legal action will be taken.
3. Cadets shall not engage in fighting (physically or verbally). Cadets shall not use derogatory remarks or engage in any type of negative behavior.
4. Any injury or medical condition requiring treatment shall immediately be brought to the attention of a Counselor.
5. During presentations and instruction, Cadets will be attentive, respectful, and not speak while the presenter is speaking unless instructed to do so. When answering or asking a question the Cadet will stand once called upon and respond in the format “Sir/Ma’am”, question/response, followed by “Sir/Ma’am”.
6. Cadets shall not handle or touch any equipment, approach any operational aircraft or vehicle, or touch any animal(s) unless instructed they may do so.
7. Cadets shall never separate from their squad unless given permission by their Counselor. Such situations would include bathroom, water breaks, etc. Cadets shall never be alone. There will always be at least two cadets together and are therefore required to go everywhere with a buddy.
8. Cadets shall not exit their cabin following lights-out unless there is an emergency and/or instructed to do so by a Counselor and/or Junior Counselor.
9. Cadets will respect the property of others. If intentional damage is done to any property (personal or structural), or a theft occurs of the property of another, this will result in the appropriate legal action and the Cadet will be financially responsible.
10. Cabin areas will be kept neat and orderly always. Daily cabin inspections will be conducted. Good hygiene will be maintained. Shirts will be tucked in, shoes laces tied, and hat will be worn at all times while outdoors and in the manner instructed. Cadets will maintain proper hygiene. A clean uniform will be worn every day and done so with military appearance and bearing.
11. Cadets will maintain proper behavior at all times while in the Dining Hall. All food taken will be eaten (except in the case of an allergy).
12. Cadets shall not possess any electronic or communication devices. This includes but is not limited to: cell phones, iPads/Computers/Kindles/Notebooks, iPods, Radios, etc. If found in the Cadet’s possession they will be confiscated and returned to the parent/guardian at the conclusion of the camp week.
13. Cadets shall not possess any food or snacks (to include candy, gum, cough drops, etc.) If found in the Cadet’s possession they will be confiscated and returned to the parent/guardian at the conclusion of the camp week.
Failure to follow any of these rules will result in appropriate disciplinary action. However, this list does not encompass all possible infractions. Any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in Dismissal from the program. In the event of Dismissal, the Director will immediately contact the parent/guardian.
